Has ISKRA passed an independent audit?
No. Internal tests are part of development; an independent security audit has not been completed. There is no published audit report or claim of guaranteed value.
What happens if the connection is lost?
Mining and new transfers pause while the internet relay is unavailable. Your encrypted wallet and downloaded history remain on your computer. Keep a backup of your recovery phrase.
Why don’t two wallets show the same chain?
They may have started separate networks. Back up the second wallet before using “Prepare this wallet” in the app: it clears that wallet’s separate chain and mined balance, then lets it join the founder’s network. Two independent balances cannot be merged.
How do I update or verify the download?
Save a wallet backup and keep your recovery words safe. Close ISKRA, replace the portable executable and reopen it. In PowerShell, run Get-FileHash .\ISKRA-Wallet-*.exe -Algorithm SHA256 and compare the complete hash with this page. This verifies file integrity; it is not a Windows publisher signature.
Can every device mine and validate?
CPU mining is available in the Windows app. GPU mining requires WebGPU and a compatible driver. Validator admission requires founder approval; installing another copy does not grant it a vote.
